Our Mission

At Curious Cubs Forest Play, we believe children learn best when they’re free to explore, play and discover at their own pace. Our sessions encourage child-led play in the great outdoors, helping little ones build confidence, resilience, independence and curiosity while developing a love for nature.

We provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where children can get muddy, make friends, try new things and simply enjoy being kids - creating happy memories and skills that can last a lifetime.

Meet Charlotte

Hello, I’m Charlotte, the owner of Curious Cubs!

I took over Curious Cubs in mid-2025 and have never looked back! I’ve always loved being outdoors and grew up exploring, getting muddy and enjoying the freedom that comes with being outside.

I have a background in health and social care and I’m also a proud Air Cadets volunteer, where I love working with young people and helping them build confidence and learn new skills.

I’m also a mum to a little boy, and bringing him up with a love and respect for the natural world is really important to me. I want to give as many children and families as possible the chance to get outdoors, get muddy, explore and learn the valuable life skills that Forest School offers.

In a world where so much is spent behind screens, I believe children deserve the chance to simply be kids - to play, explore, get messy and make memories.
